English + Musical Theatre  Ages: 14-17

The English + Musical Theatre Course is an alternative to the Cambridge Junior Course, The English and Musical Theatre course is an exciting new course offered by Select English and Bodywork Company Dance Studios in Cambridge. Tutors all have theatre teaching experience as well as backgrounds working in musicals and theatres in the West-End. The course combines tuition in dancing, singing and acting. Each two week module is based on a well known West-End or Broadway show and builds up to a performance of two numbers from one of these shows.

English + Science  Ages: 14-17

The English + Science Course is an alternative to the Cambridge Junior Course, offering an interesting introduction to UK education with a combination of lessons in sciences, maths and English.

Cambridge Juniors Ages: 14-16

A general English course based at our main school site on Station Road

IELTS Homestay

An IELTS preparation course with homestay accommodation based in the centre of Cambridge.

Select Central Homestay Ages: 17+

Select Central Homestay is a general English Course for students aged 17 and over with lessons based in the centre of Cambridge.

Fitzwilliam College Ages: 17+

Fitzwilliam College is a residential summer course for students aged 17 and over based at Fitzwilliam College Cambridge University.

Classes

* 15 hours teaching per week.
* Maximum 12 in a class - students from all over the world.
* Elementary - advanced.
* Reports and certificates
* Lessons focus on developing communicative skills through a balance of language input, project work and real English.

Accommodation

* Accommodation is in small dormitories on separate floors for boys and girls and supervised by school staff.
* Breakfast, lunch and evening meal are offered and taken in the school dining room.
* Regular laundry.
* Bed linen provided (students should bring their own towels).

The course at Barnardiston Hall has an exciting and varied activity programme with sports, games and excursions.

* 3 full day excursions on each 2 week course
* Many local trips on the school coach
* Sports, games, arts and crafts
* All entrance fees included
